Sending Virtual Shares
There are different ways how to send out your virtual shares and reward your community members:
- Manual: Send virtual shares to one person
- Manual: Send virtual shares to multiple people at once
- Automatic: Set up an automated process to send out virtual shares
Manual: Send virtual shares to one person
Every program admin can send out virtual shares manually to anyone they choose. This is the most common way how to reward people in your community for actions they have done for your business i.e. wrote a social media post, gave you a sales referral or product feedback.
To send out virtual shares, this is how it works:
Log into your account at issuer.koos.io
Go to your "Dashboard" and click "Send virtual shares"
Note down the recipient's personal email, their name and reason why you are sending the shares. * It is important to define the reason, so you can keep track on what kind of contributions your community is doing. Read more here → Ways to Earn
Define how many shares you want to send.
Include a short message for the recipient.Could be something like: "Thank you for introducing us to company XYZ!"
Send!
The recipient will receive an email, notifying them that you have sent them virtual shares for their contribution. The email preview will be visible on the right hand side before you send it out (see screenshot below).
Manual: Send virtual shares to multiple people at once
You can also send virtual shares to multiple people all at once.
This can happen, when multiple people have contributed to your company at once or you would like to reward a group of people.
This is how it works:
Go to the Dashboard at issuer.koos.io and click on "Send virtual shares"
Navigate to "Send to multiple"
Create a simple spreadsheet with all recipients, including:
(Optional) Virtual share recipient name
Email address
Number of virtual shares each recipient will receive
Personal message to the recipient
(Optional) Reason for your internal use (won’t be displayed to the recipient, only in your Transactions’ list)
Copy & Paste your data to the platform.
Review if everything is correct.
Click "Send".
Automated: Send out virtual shares automatically
There are multiple ways how you can automatically reward your users/members virtual shares for certain actions taken.
For example, automatically sending someone virtual shares, when they:
- Subscribe to the platform
- Purchase a product/service via your platform
- Watches a full video or complete's a course
...and many more.
This helps businesses automatically reward actions that are meaningful for the company's growth and engagement.
